As you complete the online modules you will go from unlocked status to our virtual lockdown status. SafeGuard ID adds more modules to your member's area as we discover new ways that identity thieves and hackers illegally obtain your sensative information.
As a member, you will receive our monthly newletter every time we add a new module. It is important to remember that protecting your identity is an ongoing process. Experts agree that keeping your personal information a secret is the only sure way to stop identity theft.

Q: How Does Your Fraud Alert Call forwarding Service Work?
A: If you suspect that your identity is at risk or has been stolen, SafeGuard ID will give you a special phone number that you in turn give to the credit bureau. Your account entitles you to enter up to 3 numbers of your choosing. For example, you could enter your home, work, and cell phone number. When someone tries to open a new account, SafeGuard ID forwards the call from the credit bureau directly to the 3 numbers you provided us with. Our Intelligence Control Center handles all the details and will even send you an email letting you know that you received a fraud alert from the credit bureau.
