Privacy Policy
SafeGuardID respects the privacy of our online visitors. We do not require "Power Of Attorney" from you, nor do we act as a third-party middleman like other identity theft prevention/protection companies that store your sensitive personal data on their server where it is at risk for serious potential data breaches. SafeGuardID believes in "individual sovereignty/privacy." The more classified an individual is the less chance there is for identity theft to occur. We advocate total privacy of individuals.
SafeGuardID is committed to maintaining privacy and security controls over the information that you do provide to us. We restrict access of your personal information to the employees that are providing you with the products and services offered by SafeGuardID. We use appropriate security safeguards and encryptions to protect your information. We caution our participants regarding information databases or giving your power of attorney to a third party middleman for the direct purpose of trying to prevent identity theft. SafeGuardID believes strongly that this impedes ID theft prevention and defeats the purpose. The strongest deterrent against identity theft is complete individual sovereignty/privacy.
SafeGuardID shares personal information with third parties only if you authorize us to do so, where required by law, and only with the business affiliates that work with SafeGuardID to provide our products and services to you. We have agreements with all of our business affiliates that require them to maintain the confidentiality of any personal information that we send them. In addition, we require that they use that information only for the specific and limited purposes related to providing our products and services, and that they have in place the necessary security standards (approved by SafeGuardID) to maintain the privacy and security of your personal information.
Our Web site uses a feature on your browser known as a "cookie," which is a small text file that gathers non-personal information Web sites can use to facilitate a visitor's access to and use of the site. "Cookies" also allow us to recognize repeat visitors, track the pages our Web site visitors use, and collect data to help continue to improve our site. We do not use cookies for other purposes and do not share the information gathered by the cookies with third parties. Most browsers include a feature that enables the user to accept or deny cookies.
SafeGuardID may make changes to our Privacy Policy from time to time. We encourage you to review our Privacy Policy, and if you have any questions about it, to please contact us.
